About

We built the witness property operations were missing.

Tyst is a product of Four Fjord, built by people who know property operations from both sides. One side knows how to build defensible systems. The other knows what actually happens on a holiday park at 8am with 60 units to turn.

The story

From a real cleaning operation.

Tyst didn't start in a boardroom. It started on the ground, running cleaning across dozens of holiday units and feeling the cost of guesswork: the disputed cleans, the lost property arguments, the schedule built over a morning of WhatsApp messages.

We built the tool we needed, proved it on a live operation, and then did the work most products skip: we made sure the name, the brand and the platform could carry it into every kind of property, anywhere.

The result is a platform where high standards aren't promised, they're witnessed, evidenced and certified.

The name

Tyst means witness.

It's Welsh for witness, the impartial record that the work was done. It heads a whole family of Welsh proof-words. And in the Nordic languages, tyst means quiet, a nod to the Four Fjord roots behind the company.

What we believe

Done is a fact, not a feeling.

Property operations have run on trust and memory for too long. We think the work should speak for itself, captured at source, owned by the operator, and impossible to argue with.

Proof over promises

If it matters, it gets witnessed. Standards you can show, not just claim.

Built for the field

Software has to survive bad signal and busy mornings, or it doesn't get used.

Operator-first

Designed with people who turn units for a living, not just for them.

Made to scale

Witness → evidence → certificate. One root that grows with the operation.
